Vintage Garden / by Vlad Radion

This vintage garden shoot that I designed and photographed came together as natural to me as if it were a dream. I'm sure by now you know how much I love greenery and wild nature. When I came across this garden a few months back, I knew I had to use it for one of my shoots.

When I style my inspiration shoots, I always start off with the location and build off of it. With this particular style, I knew right off the bat that I needed a lace dress that compliments the overgrown foliage and the weather worn pottery. Another important aspect to this collaboration are florals. When working with wild flower florals, ( Boise people you have to see here amazing new store! ) I knew I wanted fern and wild roses in the bouquet. I think it is important to match the bouquet with the venue/location. Yet, have the bouquet stand out with its own beauty.

I was impressed how the golden sun gently lit the bride while moody shadows set the tone.

Overall this inspirational shoot shows my vision and my style of what I'd love to photograph in my near future, overgrown gardens and the warm setting sun.
